Mesquite Horn-ex Moore could join Oklahoma's DT rotation

Oklahoma junior Cordero Moore of Mesquite Horn could join the Sooners’ defensive tackle rotation while junior DeMarcus Granger of Kimball continues to recover from a left ankle injury.

Granger is expected to miss at least the next month after choosing rehab over season-ending surgery to repair tendon damage he suffered in OU’s win at Washington on Sept. 13.

OU coach Bob Stoops said Tuesday that Moore “has come on.”

“He has made good improvement,” Stoops said, “and we have been close to playing him all year.”

Stoops added that he expects Granger to return this season.

“Everyone is going to want to know the timetable,” Stoops said. “I don’t have one.”
